Grade 7 and 8 students in Ojibwe and history classes at St. Thomas Aquinas have been researching the history of residential schools and took a walk to the Cecilia Jeffrey Residential School Monument today.

Grand Council Treaty #3 Support worker for residential school survivors, Larry Henry shared with the students the history of the school and his own experience.

They walked the grounds of the former school and gave a tobacco offering at the monument.
