Summer is on the way and the Kenora Catholic District School Board is offering a great opportunity to keep the kids active while learning, building confidence and reducing screen time!
Throughout the summer, they are offering their Summer Sports Camps!
Things will get going on May 7 with the 3rd Annual Soccer Skills Development Program, which is open to students in Grades 2-8 within the KCDSB.
They’re opening their camps to all students within the Kenora area for the rest of the summer beginning with the 16th Annual Kenora Volleyball Camp. This will run June 25 – 29 for those who want to learn and excel in the sport, from beginners going into Grade 7 next fall to seniors in Grade 12 who want to continue their volleyball career into university.
All students in the region from Grades 4-6 are also invited to the Multi-Sports Camp, which is offering coaching within volleyball, basketball and soccer. This will go August 20-24.
Next to mention are the Basketball Skills Development Camps. From July 2-6, those in Grades 7 and 8 are invited to join Jordan Meija and special guests to develop their skills in the sport. For the older students in Grades 9-12, the camp will run July 16-20.
