We're just days away from Halloween and what better way to prepare than to take part in a pumpkin carving contest!

Families came to the Discovery Centre for a day of not only carving, but painting, too! Nope, not your traditional Jack-O-Lanters were out today. The kids were very creative using slime, glitter, flowers, Q-Tips, tacs, paint and glitter to jazz up their pumpkins this year!

Everyone did a great job and all were winners today! The three that stood out the most were the "skeleton in jail", "slime and brains" and the "devil unicorn"!

Thank you to Morgan Seller and the Discovery Centre for inviting us all down for a great day.
