TransCanada is looking to help students from across Canada to help pursue their educational goals while enhancing their communities with their TransCanada Scholarships!

There are 300 scholarships available in three different categories.

First, there are 100 TransCanada Community Leaders Scholarships worth $1000.00 each, which are awarded to students who demonstrate a strong commitment to their communities through volunteerism, leadership and other activities!

Second, 50 scholarships of $5000.00 are up for grabs for Indigenous students who are studying any academic disciplines with the Indigenous Legacy Scholarship. Students will be eligible to receive this scholarship year over year, assuming they remain enrolled.

Third. Students who are studying trades relevant to the energy industry can be eligible to receive $1000.00. There will be 150 TransCanada Trade Scholarships to be handed out.

The application window will close April 15. All applications will be reviewed until May 31 and applicants will be notified of the result come June 30 and by July 31, cheques will be mailed to the successful applicants!
