In the City of Kenora, especially under the Whitecap Pavilion and along the Green Belt, things are getting festive as we approach Canada 150! The whole town has been made brighter with things such as bright red and white flowers, beautiful Canadian themed art work and Canada 150 propaganda.
There is beautiful red and white tulips, which were planted in the Fall by Debbie's Greenhouse, at the round about. So if you see any deer around them, chase them away so we can have beautiful flowers for Canada 150.
Along the boardwalk of the Harbourfront, you can see 30 beautifully painted paddles lining the railing. The Paddles are part of the Dip, Dip & Swing art exhibit put on by LOWAC. They also have painted canoes and individual art pieces along the Harbourfront.
There is a ton of different events planned for Canada 150 this Saturday. Watch for Q104 this weekend at some of the big Canada 150 events!
