World Hospice and Palliative Care Day is tomorrow and the Kenora Palliative Care Committee is celebrating by holding their bi-annual "Voices for Hospice" concert.
The concert will run tomorrow at First Baptist Church in Kenora starting at 7:00pm.
The celebration of hospice and care will feature the likes of the Ladies of the Lake, Les Filles D'Espirit, Jesse McIsaac and Winds of the Woods. There will also be people doing readings between entertainment!
Tickets are available at the door for $10.00/ adults and $5.00/children.
World Hospice and Palliative Care Day is a day to celebrate and support hospice and palliative care around the world and to make known he availability of hospice and palliative care within communities. It is also to raise awareness and understanding of the needs (medical, social, practical, spiritual, etc.) of people living with a life limiting illness and their families.
