A silver medal for a St. Thomas Aquinas student at the All-Ontario high school swimming championships this week in Toronto.
Tazio Mastromatteo finished in second place in the 100 meter breaststroke.
He withdrew from the 100 meter individual medley with a tweak in his shoulder.
The other member of the TA swim team was Natalia Debbo.
She swam in the para-swim division.
Debbo competed in the 50 meter freestyle race in a time of 51:34 and then 100 freestyle in 1:66:76
She achieved personal bests in both her events.
She was 7th in her 100 meter freestyle and 9th in 50 meter freestyle.
Debbo is the first ever Para swimmer to represent Saint Thomas Aquinas at OFSAA.
