Kenneth George Page

Ken passed away peacefully on February 25, 2024 at Lake of the Woods Hospital, with his son Rod at his side.

Ken was born in Kenora, October 17, 1927 to George & Violet Page. Ken is predeceased by his wife Margaret of 69 years, his daughter Janet (Kirk), his parents George and Violet Page, his sisters Shirley Hendrickson, Joe Peacock, Marg Loranger, as well as his brothers Bob and Ernie Page.

He is survived by his son Rod (Kim Reynard) of Kenora, 4 grandchildren, Mike Kirk and Cimmeron Kirk both of Toronto, Randi Page of White Court, Alberta and Danielle Thibault (Marc) of Kenora. Also 5 great grandchildren Maddison, Locklynn, Monty of White Court, Alberta and Wyatt, Graye of Kenora.

Ken took over his grandfather’s flower and green house business in 1949, and he & Margaret ran it until 1989 when they retired. On retirement they moved to their property on Trout Lake where they lived for 20 years before moving to Benedickson Court.

Ken spent most of his childhood and adult life at Trout Lake. Making memories that were cherished for his lifetime. He loved hunting & fishing, gardening and curling. He was a member and past president of the Kenora Curling Club and a senior member at the Keewatin Curling Club. He volunteered at the Kenora Fire Department for 38 years.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers at Benedickson Court as well as all of the staff on 2nd East and Third floor at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
