Bowibigogbo Atik Doodam
(Bryan Douglas Redsky)

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Bowibigogbo Atik Doodam (Bryan Douglas Redsky), 69 of Shoal Lake #40 First Nation on Thursday, March 14, 2023.

Bryan was born in Shoal Lake #40 on February 6, 1955 and resided there his whole life. He spent special time with this mother picking wild rice and blueberries as a young man and we always looked forward to his trapline stories with Uncle Jim Wahpay. He was proud of his many years working at CN and the Waugh Intake. He enjoyed fishing, reading and singing. He always brought smiles to our faces with his sense of humour. He will be sadly missed.

He is predeceased by his parents, Wilfred Redsky Sr. and Erma Redsky (Wahpay), his son Russell Angeconeb, siblings Jerry, Cecil, Stanley, Karen, Wilfred Jr., niece Cheryl Dubois and Cheryl Redsky and nephew Cody Shebagegit. He will be greatly missed by his brother Desmond Redsky Sr (Cheryl) and sister Gwen Redsky and his first cousin Barbara Scott and Aunty Sarah Borsfai and Grace Redsky. His nieces and nephews Amber Redsky (Rich), Luke Linklater (Nat), Storm and Summer (Bro) Baker, Herman, Crystal (Gary), Neil, Starla (Travis) Redsky, Desmond Redsky Jr. , Derek Redsky, Galen Copenace and Evahlynne Shebagegit, Stephen Borsfai, Denise Skoczylas and Tom Borsfai. His close cousins, Donny, Marvin and Wyne (Wayne) and numerous, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Wake service will be held on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 2:00pm at Shoal Lake #40 Band Office Gym followed by traditional ceremony on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 10:00am.

The family would like to say Miigwetch to our family and friends for their support and condolences. We would thank Shoal Lake #40 Chief and Council, Shoal Lake #40 Crisis Team (Cami, Norbert and Chevonne) and Kenora Chiefs Advisory (KCA).
