Nina Maxine Petit
December 24, 1924 – March 27, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nina on Wednesday, March 27th, 2024 peacefully at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital.
Nina will be sadly missed by all that knew her. She was an extraordinary Woman whose memory had no bounds even at the age of 99.
She was predeceased by her husband Don Petit, she is survived by her daughter Alice Donahue (Petersen), her grandchildren Donna Haukeness (Petersen), Frank Petersen and Mathew Pecht. As well as many family members residing in the USA including her niece Katherine Osterman, many nephews, and great grandchildren.
Nina led an extraordinary life she was extremely hard working, and her wit had no bounds.

Cremation has taken place, at Nin’s request there will be no formal service.
