He will be forever missed by his loving wife of 68 years, Ruth (nee Tannock), his children Cheryle Moline (Ken), David Moline (Darlene), Sandra Fitzer (Brian), Ted Moline Jr. (Candy), Annette Skomoroh (Larry) and Stacy Minnder (Hermann), 14 grandchildren, Amber, Dalanie, Lacey, Camilla, David Jr, Shaun, Kylie, Erin, Hope, Leighton, Jonathan, Deja, Michael and Madison, 28 great-grandchildren, Alysah, Avah, Katie, Owen, Alexi, Lemmy, Maximus, Makayla, Ayden, Merrick, Amara, Keegan, Armani, Kendra, Kaydence, Kayl, Teo, Konnor, Aisling, Benjamin, Russell, Aspen, Kazeya, Callie-Ann, Danica, Alexis and Stuart, 1 great-great grandchild Haileigh as well as his sisters Shirley Wintle and Carol French.

Dad will be greeted at the gates of heaven by his mother and father Myrtle and Evereth Moline, his sister Dale, brothers-in-law Charles and Brian, 1 grandchild Mickenzie and 1 great- grandchild Ryan.

Dad was born in Dryden, Ontario on September 24, 1933. While working in the paper mill in Powell River, British Columbia dad met mom the love of his life. Mom was swept off her feet by the dashing 6’2”, blonde hair, blue eyed, well built charmer on his Harley Davidson and after a year of dating they returned to Dryden where they married on January 25, 1956.

Dad found his vocational calling in 1957 when he began welding and he never looked back. He remained a proud, lifetime member of the Ironworkers Union after his retirement at the age of 80.

Dad worked away from home a lot, but when he was home he made the best of his time. He built racing boats, dune buggies, a log cabin playhouse and monkey bars for his children, took his family hunting, fishing and camping and later in life enjoyed reading westerns and tinkering in the yard.

Dad has left us all with memories of his big bear hugs, his smile that lit up his face and his crystal blue eyes whenever he saw a loved one, his bone crushing hand shakes, his quiet, calm demeanour and many, many life lessons and stories.

As per Dad’s wishes, there will be no service. Cremation has already taken place.
