Clancy was predeceased by his parents Dorothy Kelly and Ed Kelly Sr., brothers Edward Kelly Jr., Kelvin Kelly, an infant brother David Kelly, nieces Kelli Morrison and Rhonda Kelly, nephews Russell Kelly, Nathan White, Shane Kelly, sister in law Rose Kelly, grandparents Harry and Mary Kelly, Bert and Frances Yerxa and numerous aunts and uncles.

He leaves to mourn his son Bryce (mother Lisa), Fabian (mother Cheryl) and daughter in law Stacy. He also leaves special friend Toni White and daughter Shandi, sisters Ramona (Mick), Sheila (Riel), Sharon, Shirley (Tom) and brothers Derek (April), Michael, Duane (Betty), Vince (Diane), Daniel, his buddy brothers Noonie and Ernie. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to mention. Clancy is survived by his large extended Yerxa family in Couchiching and relatives in Onigaming. He always made sure the younger ones knew they were family and let them know they were loved.

Clancy was very talented on the guitar and vocals. He loved classic rock and country. He was a member of the High Spirits back in high school. It was during that time he became influenced and awed by the late Tommy White who became a mentor, teacher, and friend who encouraged him into the world of pow-wow singing. He loved his pow-wow brothers the world class champion singers Whitefish Bay Singers which he was a part of travelling far and wide, always bringing back a story or two. He was always very honored to be asked to drum and sing for community events in Onigaming, many young men looked up to him.

A wake service will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Customary Care Building, Onigaming First Nation, Ontario. A funeral service will occur Monday, April 29, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Customary Care Building with Elder Lawrence Henry leading the ceremony with interment to follow.
