Jenna Lynn Copenace
October 31st, 1992 – July 3rd, 2024

Jenna Lynn Copenace (Wabanakatook) was born in Fort Frances, Ontario at the Laverendrye Hospital on October 31st, 1992. She was a band member of the Ojibways of Onigaming First Nation Ontario Treaty #3.

Jenna leaves behind her partner Darryl Johnson, her beloved children Michael, Maddox, Mackenna, Milianna, Morning Star, her mother Justine Copenace-Bell, siblings Tyler W. Copenace (Dani), Dallas J. Bell, Sarah J. Copenace, Alana A. Bell (Bradley), she also leaves behind nieces and nephews numerous Aunties and Uncles.

Jenna is predeceased by her father James Bell, Grandmothers Jean Bell, Flossie Copenace, Grandfathers Cyril Lavalee, Edward Copenace, Uncles Norman Bell, Tony Copenace, Aunties Carol Bell Joan Mainville, Great Aunty Ella Bell.

Jenna was a loving mother to her beloved children who did everything she could for them. She loved shopping for her children whether it be toys or clothes. Jenna loved cooking for her family she tried many recipes, her favourite homemade pizza. Jenna was so proud that she completed her 1 year of sobriety.

Jenna’s favorite song recently was playing ‘Dancing in the Sky’ for her dad. She also listened to ‘Remember Me’ by: Fawn Wood, and ‘Save Me’.

Jenna will be forever in our hearts, as she was loved and cherished by her children, her family & friends
Pallbearers will be Tyler Copenace, Dallas Bell, Bradley Henry, Cyril Bell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael, Blake, Maddox, Greyson, Audrina, Mackenna, Millianna and Morning Star.

A private service will be held to honor Jenna Lynn Copenace and will be officiated by Pastor Frank Kowal on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 3:00 pm with cremation to follow.

Services will be closed to the public and held for family and friends of Jenna as per family’s wishes at Brown Funeral & Cremation Centre in Kenora, Ontario, The family of Jenna would like to give thanks to Onigaming Chief & Council and Band Manager for all the care and help as well to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre.
