Who do Canadians want to see as the next President of the United States?
According to a new poll from Narrative Research, Democratic nominee and current Vice-President Kamala Harris is the preferred choice on this side of the border.
Fifty-three percent of respondents want to see her become America’s first female president.
Former President and current Republican nominee Donald Trump received 22 percent support.
Those 55 and over and women were more likely to choose Harris.
Much of Trump’s support was among Canadian men at 48 percent (Gen Z).
Ten percent wanted neither candidate, and another ten are still not sure.
