What are your plans for Halloween?
Field Agent Canada asked almost 1100 people in October.
Eighty-one per cent said they were planning to buy Halloween treats this year, but only 69 per cent said they were planning to hand them out.
The average number of trick-or-treaters expected to knock on doors tonight is 60.
The survey also found that chocolate is the top treat to be handed out, followed by candy, chips, and Cheezies.
A Leger poll also spoke to over 1500 Canadians this month about the spooky day.
They stated they’ll spend around $67.65 on average for costumes, decorations and other Halloween-related expenses. For parents, that increases to $121.57.
Eighty-three per cent of children old enough to go door to door plan to trick or treat this year.
Only 34 per cent said they planned to decorate the house in time for the ghosts and goblins.
