Record producer Quincy Jones dead at 91

Legendary music producer and composer, Quincy Jones has died. He was 91.

Jones produced Michael Jackson’s famous Thriller album among numerous other hits, plus award-winning film and television scores.

He worked with hundreds of other recording artists including Frank Sinatra and Ray Charles.

Jones also helmed the historic recording sessions for the 1985 charity single “We Are the World.”

During his 70-year career, Jones won 28 Grammy awards as well as an Academy award and an Emmy.
