Odemin passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 15, 2024 in Wabaseemoong First Nation.
She was predeceased by her Gichi Kookum and Gichi Mishoomis, Janet, Ruth, Larry, Doris, Mary, Paul and Dellarraine, her Kookum/Shoomis Angie, Christopher and Billy Cameron, cousins Daanis, Beauty, Mario, Wisdom and Dahlia.
She is survived by her parents Joanne Scott and Bruce Henry, he siblings D’Angelo, Animikii, Raine, Giiwedin, Nbwaakaawin, Reese Jemma, Belle. Step-mothers Amy, Jocelyn and Regina. She is also survived by her Kookum/Mishoomis Glen (Rebecca) McDonald, Pauline Henry (Charles), Emily (Jason), Deanna (Greg), Caroline, Danny, Jari, Grant (Beatrice), Julia, Shirley, Howard, Austin and Rachel Taylor, Laura, Wendy and Nathan, aunts and uncles Jolene, Scarlet, Christine, Thomas Darian, Darren, Northwind (Kristen), Glenna, Glenn, Serenity, Gabe, Gage, Raymond, Bella, Myka, Lucy, Bonnie, Barry (Una), Ashley (Noel), Curt, Kody (Ashley), Troy, Ernie, Jimmy, Sheila, Linda, Geraldine, Sherry, Cathy, Grace, Donna, William, Patrick, Dorothy and Anna.

A wake service for Odemin will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 11:30am at Darren McDonald’s Residence, Whitedog, Ontario. A wake service will then be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 11:00am at WCWA Building, Whitedog, Ontario. A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 10:00am at WCWA Building, Whitedog, Ontario with burial to follow.
