The Kenora Public Library is more than about lending out books.
The Library has launched its Library of Things.
Vice-chair of the Library Board Marj Curtis-Poirier which includes a recent donation of snowshoes.
“Thanks to a recent grant from the Weyerhaeuser Giving Fund the library recently purchased 35 pairs of snowshoes in both adult and children sizes,” Curtis-Poirier told city council recently.
“The staff is already thinking of a possibility of a pop-up snowshoe walk on some of wonderful winter trails.”
The Weyerhaeuser Giving Fund gave the library a grant of just over $5,200 dollars to purchase the snowshoes.
