The City of Kenora has found a new stream of revenue.
Naming rights have been granted for three facilities in the community.
Moncrief Construction will be on the Kenora Rec. Center, Bowman Electric at the Keewatin Memorial Arena, and Jarnel Contracting for the White Cap Pavilion.
Moncrief will pay the city the most at $375,000 for 15 years or $25,000 a year, while Bowman Electric will spend$17,500 for 10 years or a total of $175,000, and Jarnel is contributing $15,000 for 10 years for a total of $150,000
The city says it will generate just over $542,000 over the course of the agreements.
A request for proposal was issued in June of last year and the city used the Performance Sponsorship Group to select the successful companies.
