It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved daughter, great granddaughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend Michaela Rain Fobister.
Michaela was predeceased by her grandmother, MaryAnn Strong, and Aunties Mandy Loon, Janine Fobister, and Cynthia Pahpasay.
Michaela leaves to mourn her parents Michael Sr and Roxanne Fobister, siblings: Jeremy, Hailey, Logan (Skyla), Michael Jr., grandparents: JB (Becky), Lawrence (Emma), Jackie (Clifford), aunts and Uncles: Darryl (Carol), Tammy (Travis), Jason (Amanda), Robyn (Jason), Nicole (Rene), Christine (Darren) and Rachel, niece and nephew: Helena and Tanner, cousins: Darrian, Jaydon, Cameron, Aidan, Love, Jack, Ashton, Kylie, Waasapiik, Aubrey, Pete, Deacon, Honey, Shyanne, Dreg, Athena, Drake, and Raine.
Her Pets: Molly, Little Cat, Buzz and 2 goldfish.
As well as extended family: Evelyn Pahpasay, Sylvia, Christine, Harvey, Darren, Marty, Jennifer, Lionel, Annette (Robert), Floyd, Fred (Rita), Pauline, Chad (Miranda), Justin, Charlotte, Harold, Charlton, Robbie, Stacy, Tracy, Ashley, Chasity, Mary Jane, Sara Jane, Molly, Leo, Bernadette and so many aunts, uncles and cousins too numerous to mention.
Michaela was a beautiful, kind, gentle, loving, caring daddy’s girl, who loved the outdoors. She loved swimming, boating, camping, hiking, baking, dressing up her cats, family gatherings, laughing with her brothers and cousin Kylie. She liked listening to music, watching scary movies, also she was teaching herself to play guitar.
Michaela really loved going for walks. Anyone that met Michaela ended up loving her, she was that lovable. She will remain in our hearts, for now she is with family in the Spirit World and one day we will see her again.

A wake service for Michaela will begin on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Michael Fobister’s Residence, Grassy Narrows, Ontario. A traditional funeral service will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023 at 10:00 am at Michael Fobister’s Residence, officiating the traditional service is Elder Gilbert Smith. Paamaamiinawaa.
