There are some new names of government ministries as part of a cabinet shuffle by Premier Doug Ford as Queen’s Park ended its spring session.
Kenora-Rainy River MPP Greg Rickford remains as Minister of Northern Development.
He is also Minister of Indigenous Affairs, but the Ministry changes to Indigenous Affairs and First Nations Economic Reconciliation.
The Ministry of Natural Resource and Forestry reverts to the Ministry of Natural Resources, with Gradyon Smith holding the portfolio.
Nolan Quinn becomes an Associate Minister of Forestry as part of the MNR.
Former Agriculture Minister Lisa Thompson now becomes Minister of Rural Affairs, while Rob Flack heads a new ministry called the Ministry of Farming, Agriculture and Agribusiness.
One of the big changes in personnel sees Stephen Lecce out as Education Minister and moved to handle the Ministry of Energy and Electrification.
Former Energy Minister Todd Smith takes over Lecce’s former job.

- Vic Fedeli remains Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade
- Rob Flack becomes the Minister of Farming, Agriculture and Agribusiness
- Michael Ford remains Minister of Citizenship and Multiculturalism
- Mike Harris becomes the Minister of Red Tape Reduction
- Michael Kerzner remains Solicitor General
- Andrea Khanjin remains Minister of Environment, Conservation and Parks
- Natalia Kusendova-Bashta becomes the Minister of Long-Term Care
- Stephen Lecce becomes the Minister of Energy and Electrification
- Neil Lumsden becomes the Minister of Sport
- Todd McCarthy becomes the Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement, with responsibility for Supply Ontario
